Tomintoul – 2000 18 Years Single Cask No. FF36 (55%)

Tomintoul 2000 18 Years is a single cask Speyside single malt, distilled in 2000 and bottled in May 2018 at a cask strength of 55%. This is cask FF36, which gave 237 bottles. The whisky spent its 18 years in a single first-fill bourbon cask. It is a rich gold in colour. The nose brings lemon cream, chocolate and light ginger. On the palate come red berries, oak, fresh ginger and vanilla, and the finish is long, with oak and grapefruit.
