This is a 21-year-old single malt from the Tomintoul distillery in Speyside, and part of the distillery's core range. It matured in ex-bourbon casks and has a bronze colour.
The nose is mild and sweet, with caramel, orange blossom honey, summer fruits and fresh hay. The palate is soft, creamy and sweet, with butterscotch and caramel, balanced between malty sweetness and spicy oak, along with fruit cake and a hint of tobacco.
The finish is medium in length, soft and spicy.
