A small batch single malt from Tomintoul, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Master Distiller Robert Fleming selected whisky aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then married it and finished it in hand-selected Caribbean rum barrels.
The nose is fresh and bright, with raspberry blossom, coconut oil, Parma violets and custard Danish. The palate brings muscovado sugar, iced buns and cinder toffee, bound together with lotus biscuits, nougat and coconut cream.
The finish is sweet butterscotch and chocolate eclairs, fading into a lingering, warming cake spice.
