A single cask Tormore 17 Year Old, distilled in 2006 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It comes from a single refill bourbon barrel, which gave 211 bottles, and is bottled at 60.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has vanilla pod and red apple, then milk chocolate, with nougat, malted biscuit and fresh lime developing. The palate is smooth and sweet, with toasted almonds, lemon zest, Seville orange, pineapple and soft black pepper. The finish is medium-bodied, with spice and a hint of aniseed.
