Tormore – 28 Year Old 1995 Connoisseurs Choice

This is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Tormore Distillery, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice series. It was distilled in 1995 and matured for 28 years in a single refill sherry puncheon, then bottled in 2024. The release is limited to 493 bottles. The refill cask gives a subtle, well-integrated sherry influence, leaving the fruit-forward character of the distillery in front. It is typically described as refined and elegant, with gentle layers of dried fruit, spice and polished oak.
