The nose has stewed raisin, clementine and subtle marzipan, then soft clove, black cherry and aniseed. The palate shows tart raspberry, toasted almond, lemon zest, dark chocolate, grapefruit and charred oak. The finish is long and spicy, with red fruit and tannins.
