A 10 year old Speyside single malt from Tormore, bottled in the 1980s at 40% ABV and sold in a 75cl bottle. Most of Tormore's spirit has traditionally gone into blends, including Long John, and the whisky in this bottle would have been distilled in the 1970s.
The distillery was designed by Sir Albert Richardson, then president of the Royal Academy. Building began in 1959 and distilling started in 1961. It now has eight stills, doubled from four, all fitted with purifiers that help lighten the spirit.
