Traveller Whiskey Full Proof is a higher-strength version of Traveller Blend No. 40, a blended American whiskey created by musician Chris Stapleton with Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley. It is bottled at 60.5% (121 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The whiskey is a blend of barrels from different Sazerac distilleries, aged in charred oak, and made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.
The nose brings caramelised sugar, baking spice and toasted oak. The palate has vanilla, warm toffee, toasted nuts and dark fruit with deep oak spice. The finish is long, with lingering spice and sweetness.
