This 30 year old single malt comes from Braes of Glenlivet, a Speyside distillery also known as Braeval, and is bottled by Tri Carragh at a cask strength of 50.6% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2025 from a single refill bourbon barrel, which gave 124 bottles. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
The nose has toffee apples, vanilla fudge, red apples, strawberries and sugar icing. The palate shows fruit cake, gentle spice and a creamy depth; water brings out ripe fruit and estery notes and softens the spice. The finish lingers with fruit.
