Tullamore Dew is an Irish blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made in the town of Tullamore in County Offaly from a blend of grain, malt and pot still whiskey, triple distilled and matured in casks that previously held bourbon and sherry.
The nose is of sweet malt and vanilla, with green apple and light spice. The palate is soft, with caramel, sweet spice such as cinnamon and a touch of citrus. The finish is long and gently spiced, with a sweet note and a faint hint of peat.
