Tullamore D.E.W. 12 Year Old Special Reserve is a triple distilled Irish blend of all three types of Irish whiskey, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It has a high proportion of pot still and malt whiskeys, matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks for 12 to 15 years.
The whiskey is described as full, smooth and well rounded, combining maltiness with pot still character. Sweet, spicy notes sit over a rich woody background from the bourbon casks.
