This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Tullibardine, a limited cask strength release labelled Edition No.1. It was matured in specially selected bourbon casks and bottled at 56.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release is 540 individually numbered bottles.
The nose is creamy and buttery, with a hint of popcorn sweetness. On the palate a bright burst of pomegranate cuts through the richness, making a dram that is mouth-watering and approachable even at cask strength.
