Tullibardine – 15 Year Old 2008 Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice (70cl, 58.2%)

This is a 15 year old single cask Tullibardine from the Highlands, selected by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice range. It was matured in a refill bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength, 58.2%, in a 70cl bottle. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered. The whisky was distilled in 2008 and bottled on 23 November 2023 as batch 23/114, with 263 bottles produced. The nose combines candied violets, green apples and gorse. The palate is balanced, with coconut and peanuts alongside creamy milk chocolate and banana. The finish is long, with lingering oak.
