Tullibardine – 2012/2025 13 Year Old Ex-Peated Barrique (70cl, 52.2%)

This is a 13 year old Tullibardine single malt bottled by Chorlton Whisky at 52.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025, and only 213 bottles were filled. The whisky was matured in a barrique that previously held peated whisky, which gives it a funky, fruity character with a touch of smoke. The nose is overripe banana, grilled pineapple, waxy peel and a hint of fire-roasted malt. On the palate come rum-soaked raisins, orange liqueur, burnt sugar and smoky custard tart. The finish is fruity and drying, with spice cake, toasted wood and faint smoky embers.
