Tullibardine 228 is a single malt Scotch whisky finished in red Burgundy casks. The time in those casks gives it a ruby colour.
Tullibardine distillery was founded in 1949 on the site of an old brewery, near Blackford, and draws its water from the Danny Burn.
The 228 is described as having notes of vanilla, Turkish Delight and light chocolate, with a creamy richness and hints of red summer fruit.
