This is a Highland single malt from Tullibardine, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. After maturation it was finished for 12 months in 228-litre Red Burgundy casks that had previously held Pinot Noir from Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet.
The wine casks give the whisky its auburn colour. The nose shows red cherries and vanilla, with hints of chocolate and Turkish Delight. Red summer fruit and more chocolate follow on the palate, and the finish has a sweet spice note.
