A single cask Tullibardine from the Highlands, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2023 at 8 years old by Dram Mor. It was matured in a first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead, and 233 bottles were filled.
Tullibardine was set up to produce a light, nutty malt, and its spirit has since moved towards more high-toned floral notes.
The nose is less sweet than expected, with a mild sherry note. The palate is well balanced, with stewed fruits and fruit and nut chocolate alongside a single espresso, and the finish is long and lasting.
