This is a Highland single malt from Tullibardine, finished in Burgundy casks. It is a distillery bottling, sold in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
The Burgundy finish shapes the notes: dark cherries, strawberries and blackcurrants on the nose, together with sweet milk chocolate, nougat and vanilla.
The palate is creamy and full, with red summer fruits, aromatic spices and more sweet chocolate, plus a fine oak spice. The finish is dry, surprisingly spicy and long.
