Turntable Collaboration Drop 01 is a blended whisky made by Turntable Blending House together with Australia's Starward Distillery. The recipe is 39% Starward single malt, 10% Caol Ila single malt, 29% Inchgower single malt and 22% North British single grain. It was matured in Australian red wine casks, first-fill bourbon barrels and virgin oak.
It has natural colour and is not chill-filtered. The label lettering is printed in luminescent ink.
The nose offers tobacco, bonfire smoke and candied red fruit, with damp oak, raspberry, rhubarb and sandalwood. On the palate there is woody smoke, peach and syrupy redcurrant. The finish is medium, with furniture polish and chocolate.
