Turntable Collaborations Drop No.3 with Amrut (53%)

Drop No.3 in Turntable's Collaborations series pairs the Scottish independent bottler with the Indian distillery Amrut. It is a blended whisky with elements from both countries, bottled at 53%. The blend is 36% Amrut from first-fill bourbon barrels, 25% BenRiach from an ex-Madeira barrique, 23% Tamdhu from second-fill bourbon and 16% Cameronbridge from a second-fill red wine barrel. The nose is rich, sweet and spicy, with honey and butterscotch poured over ripe peaches. The palate follows, adding toasted almonds and gentle cinnamon and clove. The finish is dominated by tropical fruit.
