Turntable Smokin' Riff

This is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable Spirits, built around a rich, sweet core of North British single grain matured in virgin oak, which makes up 28% of the blend. Craigellachie and Knockdhu single malts, both matured in PX puncheons, account for 24% and 21%. Peaty weight comes from two Caol Ila malts, one matured in bourbon oak (18%) and the other in red wine casks (9%). The nose offers poached pears, charred lemon peel, cinnamon rolls and beach bonfire smoke. On the palate, toffee and vanilla meet spiced blackcurrant chutney, oily orange peel and smoked cinnamon. The finish is smoky, lightly salty and richly sweet.
