This is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable Spirits, a Glasgow blending house, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The blend combines malt whisky from Craigellachie, Balmenach and Blair Athol with grain whisky from North British. Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks supply much of the dried-fruit and dark-chocolate character, while virgin oak adds vanilla, toffee and spice. The nose brings dried fruit, baked apple and raisins alongside dark chocolate, toasted malt and orange. The palate is sweet and full-flavoured, and the medium finish stays warming, with dark chocolate, dried fruit and a coffee-like bitterness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
