Turntable Spirits Smokin' Riff Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Smokin' Riff is a smoky blended Scotch whisky from the core range of Turntable Spirits, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The blend brings together malt whisky from Knockdhu, Craigellachie and Caol Ila with grain whisky from North British. It was matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry, bourbon, red-wine and virgin-oak casks. Caol Ila supplies the coastal peat smoke, while the PX-matured malts add dried-fruit richness. The nose opens with campfire smoke, toffee and ripe pear. The palate is smoky and savoury, with red and dried fruit and warming spice, and the medium finish keeps a trail of peat and oak.
