Two Stacks Smoke & Mirrors Peated Stout Cask (70cl, 48%)

Two Stacks Smoke & Mirrors is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 48% abv. It is a collaboration between Ireland Craft Beers Ltd and Dot Brewing Imbibe Café, bringing together brewing, distilling and coffee roasting. It is not coloured or chill-filtered. The mash bill is 60% stout malt, 30% peated malt and 10% double malt. It was distilled and matured at the Great Northern Distillery, then bottled by hand at Killowen Distillery. Tasting notes describe honeydew, sweet grain, rhubarb, peach and toffee on the nose. The palate is soft and intense, with honeyed peat sweetness, plenty of fruit, malt and vanilla cake. The finish is medium, with chocolate, peppery clove and almond.
