Uncharted Whisky Park Life 22 Year Old Refill Sherry Cask (70cl, 55%)

Park Life 22 is a Highland single malt matured for 22 years in refill sherry wood. The Uncharted Whisky Co. selected the cask and bottled it independently at 55% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colouring. The refill cask has a restrained influence, so the character of the malt itself stays in front rather than being covered by strong sherry notes. The nose combines caramel sweetness with mint and eucalyptus. On the palate, herbs and creamy vanilla meet a barely noticeable touch of smoke. The finish is smoky and sweet, with soft herbs and caramel.
