Usquaebach 15 Years Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is a marriage of Highland single malts from the proprietor's own special reserve, aged for at least 15 years, with some as old as 20.
The nose combines malted barley, rich earth, grilled pineapple and toffee, with dried apricot, sherry and baked apple. The palate is relatively dry, with baking spices, apple tart, vanilla bean, leather, tobacco, tea and oak. The finish is long and bold, with orange peel, spice, sweet cherry and a hint of peat.
