Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Superiore DOC Conscio Accadia

Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Superiore DOC 'Conscio' is a white wine from Accadia in the Marche region, made entirely from Verdicchio grapes. The vineyards have calcareous-clay soils and a mild, balanced climate. It is bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose has yellow-fleshed fruit such as peach and apricot, white flowers and a flinty mineral note. On the palate it is balanced and fresh, with pleasant sapidity and a light bitter almond finish. It pairs with grilled fish, shellfish, light pasta dishes and fresh cheeses. Serve at 10-12°C.
