Vermentino Puglia IGP

A white wine from Poggio Marù, classified as Puglia IGP. It opens with lively aromas of ripe citrus, white flowers and a hint of aromatic herbs. The palate is clean, with lemon, white peach and a light bitter almond note on the finish. The body is slender but present, with well-calibrated freshness and savouriness, and an equilibrium between acidity and softness. It suits raw seafood, fish-based first courses, grilled vegetables and fresh cheeses, and is best served fresh and drunk young. Versatile for informal lunches, light dinners, picnics and terrace aperitifs.
