Vermentino Toscana IGT - Poggio al Lupo

Vermentino Toscana IGT from Poggio al Lupo is a white wine made from Vermentino grapes, hand-harvested in the early morning to preserve freshness. It shows a bright straw-yellow colour with green reflections. The nose brings white-fleshed fruit such as melon and pear, with fresh aromatic herbs including rosemary and thyme. On the palate it is fresh and well balanced, with integrated acidity and a mineral savouriness typical of coastal Tuscan soils; the finish is long and aromatic with a light citrus note. It suits an aperitif and pairs with light fish or seafood starters, delicate seafood risotto or pasta with courgettes and prawns, and baked or grilled fish.
