A 2002 Bas Armagnac from Veuve Goudoulin, made from baco noir and ugni blanc grapes and aged in French oak barrels. It is distilled in a continuous Armagnac still, a method that gives fine, elegant spirits.
Brilliant topaz in colour, it is fruity on the nose with vanilla, candied citron and a faint hint of Mediterranean scrub. The palate is fine, soft and harmonious, with good persistence.
