Vina Rufina Crianza Cigales

Vina Rufina Crianza is a red wine from Bodegas Santa Rufina, a family-run winery in Cubillas de Santa Marta, Valladolid, within the Cigales appellation. It is made entirely from Tempranillo grown on vines 30 to 40 years old, harvested by hand in late September. The grapes are sorted carefully, lightly pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then spends 14 months in oak barrels. It is ruby red with violet edges. The nose is intense and fruity, and the palate carries rich fruit with oak, spice and vanilla, ending in a pleasant finish.
