Viña Rufina Joven Roble Cigales

Viña Rufina Joven Roble is a Spanish red wine from Bodegas Santa Rufina in the Cigales DO, made entirely from Tempranillo. The grapes come from vines about 40 years old and are picked by hand from the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation and six months in American and French oak. The colour is deep dark red with garnet reflections. The nose is intense and fruity with floral notes. On the palate ripe fruit leads to cocoa, vanilla, liquorice and spice, with soft, round tannins and a persistent finish.
