W.L. Weller 12 Year Old is a wheated bourbon, aged for 12 years, which is longer than most bourbons in the wheated family. It is bottled at 45% in a 750ml bottle and has a deep bronze colour.
The nose offers lanolin, almond, creamed corn and toasty vanilla. On the palate it is layered and moderately sweet, with the wheat clearly present. The finish is long and oaky, and very smooth.
