W.L. Weller Antique 107 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 53.5%)

W.L. Weller Antique 107 is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 107 proof, or 53.5% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It was originally created by the Stitzel-Weller Distilling Company. The brand takes its name from William Larue Weller, a distiller some credit as the first to use wheat as the secondary grain in straight bourbon, in place of the more usual rye. The nose combines dark fruit with vanilla, caramel and seasoned oak. On the palate, cinnamon spice leads into cherries, dark fruits, raw sugar and aged oak. The finish opens with more cinnamon, followed by caramel and vanilla.
