W.L. Weller Millennium is a Kentucky straight wheated bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 45.5% (91 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is a vatting of four sets of vintage barrels from 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2006, with the 2000 barrels the oldest component. The composition is printed on the box, and the bourbon comes in a crystal decanter in Weller's elongated bottle shape.
The nose is soft, with caramel, vanilla cream, dried apricot and butterscotch, plus gentle oak spice and a light floral sweetness. The palate offers dark caramel, brown sugar, baked apple, toasted oak and cinnamon, with a soft creaminess from the wheat.
