W5 Double U Five is a Scotch whisky from the 1970s, in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV. The nose is subtle and fresh, in an old-school style, with sweet bread, vanilla and buttery biscuits, lemon, orange zest, a hint of banana and a sweet grain background.
The palate is creamy, with a noticeable strength, and balanced and rich in sweet notes: oak, honey, peppery spice and a creamy touch reminiscent of milky coffee.
The finish is long, powerful and bittersweet, warm and spicy on the lips, with a soft metallic trace.
