This is a single cask Glen Spey from 2008, selected by the independent bottler Watt Whisky. It matured for 14 years, then received a finish in a former Islay cask. It was bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 54.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The Islay cask is said to add a smoky dimension to the Speyside malt, bringing the two regions together in one glass.
The 267 bottles were filled without added colouring or chill filtration.
