Weller Millennium Bourbon 2024 Release (70cl)

A bourbon from Buffalo Trace that blends straight bourbon and wheat whiskeys made in 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2006. The distillery set these whiskeys aside in the early 2000s to explore ultra-aged American whiskey. The release pays tribute to W.L. Weller and shows the influence of wheat on its flavour. The nose has warm caramel and toffee with deep, woody oak, then dried fruit, figs, raisins and a faint hint of stone fruit. On the palate the caramel sweetness continues, balanced by firm oak that leaves a gentle dryness in the finish.
