Weller Special Reserve is a wheated bourbon, made with wheat in place of rye grain, in a 750ml bottle. It is bottled at 90 proof (45%) and has a burnt orange colour. Its flavour is soft, and it is described as suited to sipping or to cocktails.
Vanilla bean and milk caramel on the nose sit over bright red berries, cracked wheat and fresh fennel. The palate is savoury and spiced, with a bready backbone.
