Wemyss Family Collection Blooming Gorse Blended Malt (70cl, 46%)

Blooming Gorse is a blended malt Scotch whisky from the Wemyss Family Collection, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is named after the aroma it was judged to carry, as the family chooses each name from the dominant scent or feeling of a blend. It combines single malts from across Scotland's regions and is bottled without chill filtration. The nose is light and floral, with honeycomb, soft citrus and a hint of coastal air. On the palate it is fresh and silky, with poached pear, vanilla custard and chamomile over a soft malt base. The finish is clean, with white blossom, shortbread and a touch of almond.
