Westward Cask Strength is an American single malt from Portland, Oregon, in a 70cl bottle. It is taken from the barrel and bottled at barrel strength, 62.5% ABV. The whiskey is made from malted barley and a beer brewed in house, then matured in newly charred American oak barrels in Oregon. The nose brings toasted almond, graham cracker and black pepper. On the palate come sesame, tobacco leaf and cacao, leading to a deep, fiery malt finish with honeyed sweetness.
