Whiskey JYPSI Legacy Batch 001, named The Journey, is a blend of three aged whiskeys made with Eric Church.
Seventy percent is Indiana bourbon from 99% corn and 1% malted barley, aged 7 and 8 years. A further 21% is Canadian rye from 91% rye and 9% malted barley, distilled in Alberta and aged 20 years. It is described as esterified and perfumed, with pronounced butterscotch and spice.
The last 9% is Indiana American single malt from 100% malted barley, aged four years in new American oak. It brings rich, nutty malt with vanilla, smoke and caramel.
