Whiskeysmith Pineapple Flavoured Whiskey (75cl, 30%)

Whiskeysmith Pineapple is a flavoured whiskey from Whiskeysmith Co., the flavoured-whiskey line of Old Elk Distillery in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is made with real oak-aged American whiskey and pineapple essence and natural flavours, and is bottled at 30% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was one of three expressions in the line's launch in October 2020, alongside Chocolate and Banana. The brand builds its range on fruit essences and culinary-inspired extracts rather than syrup. The tasting notes describe fresh ripe pineapple with a hint of barrel vanilla on the nose. The palate has pineapple and sweet caramel over toasted wood and tropical fruit, and the finish is smooth and semi-dry, with lingering tropical fruit and warm wood.
