Whisky Sponge Edition No.81 is an 18 year old Glentauchers, bottled in small batch at 53% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is a multi-vintage vatting that marries a first fill sherry butt of 2005 Glentauchers with a first fill barrel of 2002 Glentauchers. The strength was chosen to bring out fruitiness and make the whisky easy to drink.
