Whisky Works King of Trees 10 Year Old (70cl, 46.5%)

King of Trees is a 10 year old Highland blended malt from Whisky Works, bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. The release numbers 2,157 bottles. The whisky matured first in first fill Bourbon barrels and refill American White Oak casks. A portion was then finished in a single cask made from Scottish oak, taken from two-century-old trees felled by wind on a Highland estate, to bring out the orchard fruit notes. It is described as fresh and crisp, with apple and pear, soft wood spice and cinnamon.
