Whistle Pig 10 Year Old is a straight rye whiskey, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak casks and given a finish in bourbon casks.
The whiskey was made by a former Maker's Mark distiller.
It is gold in colour. The nose brings roasted nuts, spice, cloves, ginger, sweet caramel and orange peel. The palate is complex, full-bodied, warming and sweet, with rye, butterscotch and dark chocolate. The finish is very long, creamy and warming.
