WhistlePig Aged 10 Years is a straight rye whiskey made from 100% rye, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is distilled and first matured in Canada, then aged further at WhistlePig Farm in Vermont.
The nose opens with fresh peppermint and thyme, followed by vanilla, marzipan and butterscotch. On the palate come nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice, softened by muscovado sugar and dark chocolate. The medium finish carries warm rye spice, sweet malt and sour cherries.
