This is a 12 year old straight rye whiskey from WhistlePig, bottled at 86 proof (43%) in a 75cl bottle. It takes its inspiration from Old World barrel-ageing traditions.
The whiskey is a marriage of rye aged in new American oak, then finished in three kinds of cask: Port at 7%, French Sauternes at 30% and Madeira at 63%.
