White Heather 15 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky (46%)

White Heather is a 15 year old blended Scotch whisky bottled at 46% ABV, made by master blender Billy Walker. It brings together single malts from Speyside, Islay and the northern Highlands with selected grain whiskies. It began in American ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish sherry casks. After blending, it rested in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso casks and new American oak, a second maturation carried out at GlenAllachie distillery. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. Heather honey and butterscotch lead the nose, with orange peel, pineapple, mint and a touch of peat. The palate is syrupy, with orange peel, grapefruit, almonds, mocha and ginger, and the finish carries a light hint of peat smoke.
