White Horse 1 Litre (1L, 40%)

White Horse is a blended Scotch whisky in a one-litre bottle, at 40% ABV. It combines malt and grain whiskies, with malt making up about 40% of the blend, and Lagavulin from Islay is among its components. The character is a sweet maltiness with a soft note of peat smoke, while honey and stone fruit sit alongside the cereal notes. Colouring has been added and the whisky is chill-filtered. The name recalls the White Horse Cellar Inn in Edinburgh, whose history goes back to 1742. On the nose there is fruit, pronounced malt, toffee, oak and smoke. The palate is malty and sweet, with honey, fruit and toffee, and the long finish brings oak, spices and creamy vanilla.
